President Trump is tapping Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe to be his nominee as the next Director of National Intelligence. On Twitter, Trump said Director Dan Coats will be leaving the office on August 15th. The President praised Ratcliffe as someone who will “lead and inspire greatness for the Country he loves.” Trump also thanked Coats for his service to the country. Ratcliffe recently got attention for his critical line of questioning during Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s [[ MULL-ers ]] hearing last week.
