The remains of murdered University of Illinois visiting scholar Yingying Zhang could be in a Vermilion County landfill.
Lawyers for the family made the announcement today after learning of the information through the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
According to the report, the defense team for convicted killer Brendt Christensen disclosed this information as a part of an immunity agreement.
A press conference is scheduled for 3:00 today in Urbana.
