President Trump May Commute Former Governor Blagojevich’s Sentence
(Washington, D.C.) — Disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich may be getting out of prison earlier than first thought. President Trump yesterday said he is considering ending the former governor’s 14-year prison sentence early. Blagojevich is serving time for trying to sell former President Obama’s old U.S. Senate seat to the highest bidder. The President told reporters yesterday that he thinks Blagojevich was treated ‘unbelievably unfairly.’
