The Illinois State Fair is announcing a new record for grandstand revenue. As of the close of business on Tuesday, ticket revenue stands at just under two-point-one-million dollars, breaking the record set in 2016 by about one-hundred-thousand dollars. The state also said yesterday that this year’s grandstand was only about one-thousand tickets away from breaking the record for all-time tickets sold.
