(Carbondale, IL) — A ribbon-cutting was held on Thursday for the new SIU Center for Family Medicine in Carbondale. The building is a result of a partnership between SIU School of Medicine and Southern IllinoisHealthcare. It will host a medical clinic and serve as the home for a family medicine residency program plus a physician assistant program.
