An Olney man was killed in a crash yesterday (August 22) on Route 130 in Richland County. Illinois State Police say 81-year-old Jesse Bromm’s vehicle crossed the center line and sideswiped a pickup driven by 43-year-old William Haley, of West Liberty. Bromm continued southbound and then sideswiped a truck driven by 53-year-old Doug Giles, of T-town. Bromm was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
