Inmate Dies After Courthouse Altercation
(Danville, IL) — The Vermilion County coroner says 55-year-old Daryl Perkins died after an altercation at the courthouse. A deputy moving Perkins from one holding cell to another Friday morning was stabbed in the face. The officer then pulled out his gun and shot Perkins.
