Fallen Trooper’s Husband Keeps Her Legacy Alive

(Stockton, IL) — Fallen Illinois State Trooper Brooke Jones-Story’s husband is keeping her legacy alive through an animal rescue. The retired Illinois State Police Master Sergeant is running a satellite rescue for the Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue. Jones-Story was killed five months ago after being hit by a Scott’s Law violator while working on the side of the road.
