Concerns About Gun Violence Rising In Decatur After Deadly Shooting
(Decatur, IL) — Concerns about gun violence are rising in Decatur after a deadly shooting. Christopher Stone was shot Saturday night in the eleven-hundred-block of East Cantrell Street. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. The 24-year-old had been attending a gender reveal party at the time of the shooting. Residents in the area say gun violence has been building in the neighborhood over the years.
