FCA Recalling Jeep Gladiator Models Over Driveshaft Issue
(Detroit, MI) — A recall of 2020 Jeep Gladiators will be coming from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The automaker says the rear driveshaft of nearly 35-hundred vehicles does not have the proper lubricant. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the result could lead to the fracture of the driveshaft that could lead to an accident. FCA says they have not received any reports of issues resulting in injuries due to the problem. Approximately one-thousand of the pickups in question are still on dealer lots. FCA will be sending letters to owners in mid October and the driveshafts will be replaced free of charge.
