According to TMZ, Metallica has now cancelled their Australia and New Zealand tours. Frontman James Hetfield has reportedly returned to rehab after 20 years. It is unclear what prompted him to return, however in a statement issued by the band they say quote “He has now, unfortunately, had to re-enter a treatment program to work on his recovery again.” We’ll keep you updated if more information is released.
