ISP Trooper Saves Woman’s Life Through Bone Marrow Transplant
(Springfield, IL) — An Illinois State Police Trooper is being credited with saving a woman’s life. ISP Trooper Jeremy Carnes donated bone marrow to a woman named Kathryn. Until this weekend, he knew her only through a handful of emails that happened after the transplant. The two met at the Be The Match gala in Minneapolis over the weekend. Kathryn is noticing improvements in her condition as she fights an auto immune disease.
