One person was killed in a crash yesterday, Tuesday, October 1, 2019, in Effingham County. According to the Illinois State Police, a tractor-trailer driven by 71-year-old David Wilson, of Mason was stopped in traffic due to the previous accident when he was rear-ended by a car driven by 43-year-old Theoplus Coleman, of Urbana. Coleman died at the scene.
