National Taco Day Today
(Undated) — Today is National Taco day. According to national Tacoday-dot-com, last year Americans ate over four and a half billion Tacos. That’s 490-thousand- miles of Tacos, enough to take a person to the moon and back. Apparently, nobody really knows the full history of the Taco. Taco expert, Jeffrey M. Pilcher, though, claims that the word comes from the silver mines in Mexico in the 18th century. He says that back then the word Taco referred to little explosives the workers used to extract the ore. Feel free to draw your own conclusions.
