State Officials Take Steps To Rebuild Veterans Home
(Springfield, IL) — State officials are taking steps toward rebuilding the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. A request for proposals will be issued next month. The overhaul is expected to cost 230-million dollars and follows deadly Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks that started in 2015. The Quincy facility is the oldest and largest veterans home in the state.
