Illinois Governor Spending 850 Thousand-Dollars On Mansion Upgrades

(Springfield, IL) — Governor JB Pritzker is spending 850-thousand-dollars of his own money on upgrades at the Governor’s Mansion in Springfield. Pritzker’s cash will pay for new tiles, updated plumbing, and a rehab for some of the mansion’s bedrooms. The donation comes after former Governor Bruce Rauner helped raise 15 million-dollars for a more thorough renovation at the mansion.
