An EIU student accused of two Class X felonies, one Class 3, and one Class 1 felony, pleaded not guilty yesterday, Monday, October 7, 2019. 25-year-old Jenny Le is accused of possessing over 5,100 grams of marijuana and 600 doses of LSD with intent to deliver. She waived her right to a preliminary hearing and requested a jury trial. More than $110,000 worth of drugs was found during the execution of a search warrant on September 30th. In addition to the marijuana and LSD, authorities discovered nearly 1,000 tablets of Xanax, edibles containing cannabis, bottles of Clonazepam, Alprazolam, mushrooms, THC vape pen cartridges, and cannabis blunts. A status hearing is scheduled for October 24th.
