No Deal Reached In Negotiations Between Union, District
(Farmer City, IL) — Teachers are continuing to picket in Farmer City after no deal was reached between their union and the Blue Ridge School District. The school board and the union met last night with a federal mediator. The union says some progress was made, but a deal hasn’t been reached. The Federation says they’ve reached tentative agreements of student evaluation surveys and board paid retirement. Both sides are far apart on the issues of salary and health insurance.
