Pritzker Doubts Energy Bills Will Pass In Fall Session
(Springfield, IL) — Governor Pritzker is doubtful that a package of energy bills will be passed during the fall session. The Clean Energy Jobs Act and a series of other bills stalled at the end of the regular session in May. Pritzker spoke in support of CEJA on Monday, saying the state is falling short of goals requiring the state to use 16 percent renewable energy by 2020.
