Shimkus Says He No Longer Supports Trump After Syria Pullout
(Undated) — Congressman John Shimkus say he will no longer support President Trump after the commander-in-chief pulled American troops from northern Syria. The move happened Sunday after Trump seemingly cleared the way for the Turkish President to invade the area. Shimkus says the U.S. stabbed its Kurdish allies in the back, abandoning them to face the Turkish government’s invasion. He is the state’s longest serving Republican member of Congress
