Nationals Host Cardinals In NLCS Game Three
(Washington, DC) — The Nationals have a chance to close out the National League Championship Series at home as they host the St. Louis Cardinals in Game Three tonight. Washington leads the series two-games-to-none and each of the next two games will be at Nationals Park. Stephen Strasburg will get the start for the Nats tonight. He’s 2-and-0 in the postseason with a 2.40 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 15 innings of work. Jack Flaherty takes the mound for St. Louis, which will try to stake a comeback on the road. He’s 1-and-1 in two postseason starts with a 2.77 ERA. The Cardinals’ offense has scored just one run in the series thus far. The Cards went 3-and-1 at Nationals Park during the regular season.
