Thousands In Tools Stolen From Danville Habitat Build
(Danville, IL) — Habitat for Humanity in Danville is hoping to recover the remainder of the tools that were stolen from a worksite. About two-thousand-dollars’ worth of tools were taken over the weekend after someone broke into a home being built. Two toolboxes full of hand tools and a lawn mower have been found, but the more expensive equipment is still missing. Officials say tools like saws and drills will have to be replaced, and the community is helping to make that happen. Changes to security have been made to prevent future break-ins.
