Illinois State Police District 10 is investigating a traffic crash involving a single passenger car that occurred today in Douglas County. A van driven by Latonia Thatcher, of Champaign was traveling on the entrance ramp to I-57 northbound when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and rolled onto the van’s passenger side. Five passengers, residents of Residential Developers, Inc. of Champaign, and three staff employees were transported to Carle Foundation Hospital. Thatcher was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions.
