Decatur Parents, TAs Calling For School Board Resignations

(Decatur, IL) — Decatur teaching assistants and parents are demanding the resignation of the entire school board. A rally was held before the school board meeting last night after no deal has been reached following months of TA contract negotiations with the district. The main point of contention centers around what the union says is the unaffordable cost of health insurance.
