(Atlanta, GA) — Former President Jimmy Carter will undergo surgery to relieve pressure on his brain from bleeding after his recent falls. The Carter Center says the 95-year-old was admitted to Emory University Hospital Monday evening ahead of the procedure Tuesday morning. Carter is “resting comfortably” and his wife, Rosalynn, is with him. In October, Carter fell twice. Once it led to stitches over his left eye and the second time the fall caused a minor pelvic fracture.
