There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 12pm until 9pm this evening for Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion, Moultrie, Douglas, Coles, Edgar, Shelby, Cumberland, Clark, Effingham, Jasper, Crawford, Clay, Richland, and Lawrence counties. Rain developing during this morning, will change to snow during late morning and early afternoon, then diminish during early evening. Total snow accumulations around 2 inches are expected by early evening. Plan on slippery road conditions developing this afternoon and early evening.
