From the National Weather Service/Central Illinois Facebook page: “After the initial wave of snow and freezing rain exit overnight, there will be a period of mainly dry conditions into Monday morning. This dry trend will be shortest in areas near and south of I-70, where another round of snow or mixed precipitation will move in toward midday Monday and persist much of Monday night. Further north, the afternoon and evening snow will be shorter and lighter, with additional impacts north of I-72 and Danville fairly minimal.”

From the National Weather Service/Central Illinois Facebook page: “The snow along and south of I-70 has been changing to light freezing rain, which should continue the remainder of the evening. Areas from Flora to Lawrenceville may see up to a tenth inch of ice. Snow will continue elsewhere, but begin to diminish near I-72 by midnight.”
