Winter Storm Warning Begins Today at Noon

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning from 12pm today (12/15) through 12am Tuesday.

*Heavy snowfall is expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to
7 inches with locally higher amounts possible, and ice
accumulations of a light glaze. Portions of central, east central, and southeastern Illinois will be impacted.

*Slippery road conditions could have an impact on your commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case
of an emergency.
