Fines For Passing School Bus Set To Double
(Springfield, IL) — The fine in Illinois for passing a school bus illegally is about to double. Starting in 2020, the fine will go up from 150-dollars to 300-dollars. A second offense will cost a thousand dollars. Educators say they’re glad to see the extra deterrent.
