Mother, Daughter Die In Champaign Fire
(Champaign, IL) — Champaign officials say a mother and daughter have died after being discovered in a burning residence in Champaign. Leslie Gill was taken to the hospital early yesterday morning and pronounced dead. Gill’s daughter also died due to severe burns. The fire broke out Saturday night at a home on Sherwood Court. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
