According to Illinois State Police, two are dead after a deadly single vehicle traffic crash in Champaign County Wednesday night. Preliminary details state that a 2017 Jaguar SUV, driven by Marazette D. Young, 46, of Champaign, Illinois, was traveling west-bound near milepost 183 in Champaign County when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason. The SUV left the roadway to the right and was overturned in the ditch. One passenger was pronounced deceased on scene, the driver and another passenger were transported by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries, and the final passenger was transported to an area hospital and later declared deceased. Identification of the deceased occupants will be released by the Champaign County Coroner’s Office when available. Illinois State Police District 10 is still actively investigating, no charges as of this time.
