Job Description
The Precision Assembler does difficult assembling or adjusting involving complete assembly of a variety of non-standard items, or work of a standard nature involving intricate assembly or adjusting to close tolerances. Works from blueprints, drawings, specifications, diagrams, schematics, etc., with little direct supervision.

Requirements
- Ability to read materials to understand and apply content such as manuals, procedure manuals, or assembly materials.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, metrics.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned by others with occasional direction.
- Ability to communicate to explain or interpret well-defined business issues or procedures, following established patterns.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety rules.
- Basic mechanical skills, use of hand tools, measuring devices, and power tools once trained.
- Basic understanding of the metric system and use of tape measures.
- Ability to work together as a team to achieve productivity goals.
- Requires manual dexterity, good eye/hand coordination.
- Physical ability to meet demands of the position including, standing, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling and overall physical strength and dexterity.
- Willingness to cross train for different job tasks in the area.
- Responsible for keeping a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
