Two men were injured in single-vehicle crash in Fayette County last night. Illinois State Police say a juvenile driver was fleeing from a police officer attempting to conduct a traffic stop on I-70, near the Brownstown exit. The driver was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control while crossing an elevated bridge, lost control and hit the guardrail head-on. Another vehicle, driven by Brian Roedl, of Vandalia, attempted to slow, and swerved to avoid striking the vehicle, which was partially in the left lane.
