This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Illinois and east central Illinois.
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… A weather system will move into the area and bring rain to central Illinois beginning tonight.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY… Rain will continue across the area Tuesday with the precipitation becoming a mix of rain, snow, and possibly freezing rain Tuesday evening, then eventually just snow Tuesday night through Wednesday night. A brief period of light freezing rain is possible early Tuesday evening, which could create a minor glaze, especially on untreated surfaces. 2-3 inches of snow is also possible, mainly Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night.
SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT… Spotter activation is not anticipated through tonight.
