Trooper And Others Hurt In Crash
(Riverdale, IL) – An Illinois State trooper is hurt after a multi-vehicle crash on I-57 in south suburban Riverdale. The collision happened early this morning near 138th. The trooper was taken to the hospital in stable condition. At least two others were reported injured but there is no word on the extent of injuries. The northbound lanes of I-57 are now closed between 147th and the Cal Sag Channel and the entrance ramp to northbound I-57 at 147th is closed while police investigate.
