Illinois State Police Report Traffic Crash

(Effingham, IL) — Illinois State Police are reporting a two-vehicle crash on I-70, five miles west of Effingham. The crash happened yesterday afternoon. The first vehicle was parked on the shoulder with a trailer partially in the driving lane when it was hit by another vehicle. There were no major injuries. Charges reported are improper parking on the roadway and a Scott’s Law violation.
