Study: Marijuana Affects Memory

(Irvine, CA) — New research shows that people are more likely to form false memories when they are high on marijuana. The study, out of UC-Irvine, found that just one puff made people more open to suggestion, even to planted memories. One of the study’s co-authors says the research has implications for the testimony of eyewitnesses to crimes, especially as more people use marijuana.
