State Leaders Respond To Coronavirus Concerns
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois public health leaders are responding to concerns about the spread of the coronavirus in the state. Officials announced yesterday that a fifth person in the state has tested positive for COVID-19. The fifth case is a 20-year-old who traveled to Italy. Health officials say they are still working to contain the virus and are assessing bed capacity and taking inventory of the amount of protective gear on hand.
