Horizon Health Offers Free Diabetes Cooking Program
(Paris, Ill.)—Join Horizon Health and Mary Liz Wright from the University of Illinois Extension for a free, diabetes-friendly cooking program in March.
The program will take place Monday, March 23, at 5:30 pm, at the Edgar County Farm Bureau, 210 W. Washington Street, Paris. It will offer low-sugar, low-carb recipes, complete with a cooking demonstration and taste testing.
“Participants will help prepare a meal and leave this workshop well fed and armed with useful information,” said Mary Liz. “If you are interested in embarking on a healthier lifestyle, this workshop is for you.”
