UK/Ireland Travel Ban Going Into Effect Monday
(Washington, DC) — The European travel ban is being expanded in order to fight the coronavirus. Vice President Mike Pence announced the ban today on travel from the United Kingdom and Ireland. It begins at midnight Eastern Time on Monday. American citizens will still be allowed to return home during the ban, but their travel will be monitored.
