Angelina Jolie Donates $1M To No Kid Hungry
(Los Angeles, CA) — Angelina Jolie is making sure kids don’t go hungry during the coronavirus crisis. The actress and activist has donated a million dollars to No Kid Hungry, an organization that helps communities feed kids who rely on school lunches for their meals. In a statement, Jolie said that with schools shut down because of coronavirus, nearly 22 million children can’t get the care and nutrition they receive during school hours. The Oscar winner also sent support to the UN Refugee Agency and the schools she funds in Afghanistan, Cambodia, Kenya and Namibia to help ensure that children there can continue learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
