Anheuser-Busch InBev Donating One-Million Dollars To US Bartender Assistance
(St. Louis, MO) — Anheuser-Busch InBev is donating one-million dollars to the U.S. Bartender Emergency Assistance Program amid the pandemic. CEO of Anheuser-Busch, Michel Doukeris, says the donation will support restaurant and bar workers who are furloughed due to coronavirus shutdowns as they are the company’s first priority. They also plan on offering wholesalers a 50-percent reimbursement for all untapped, out-of-code draft beer through July 1st. In addition to their donations and reimbursements, Doukeris says they are keeping employees working by reassigning them to other roles within the company and through volunteer efforts.
