UI, Carle Health Continuing Collaboration
(Urbana, IL) — The University of Illinois and Carle Heath are continuing their collaboration to expand the availability of COVID-19 testing. Carle Health announced yesterday that UI has delivered personnel and lab machines to speed up the processing of test samples. Some tests are being turned around within a 24-hour period. Officials say a UI team is also working to design nasal swabs to collect COVID-19 test samples that are in short supply.
