(Orlando, FL) — Walt Disney World in Orlando is scaling back as it prepares to reopen to the public this summer. Disney’s Jim MacPhee says the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom will reopen on July 11th with Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios opening on the 15th. MacPhee says advance reservations will be required for all guests and masks and temperature checks are mandatory. He said parades, character meet-and-greets, and fireworks shows have all been temporarily canceled. Disney’s reopening plan needs to be approved by the governor. SeaWorld Orlando also submitted its plan to reopen to guests on June 11th.
