Some UI Faculty Oppose Fall In-Person Classes
(Urbana, IL) — Some University of Illinois faculty members are registering their opposition to the return of students to campus in the fall. The Campus Faculty Association put out a statement yesterday against the reopening of campus. CFA members believe that only students in classes that require in-person components should return. Members also want an emergency budget created to address safety concerns of the university community. No plans have been finalized by university leaders.
