(Washington, DC) — The Department of Agriculture is saying it has found the first confirmed case of coronavirus in a dog in the US. A German shepherd in New York tested positive after displaying symptoms of the virus, but is expected to make a full recovery, the USDA said. The agency says one of its owners tested positive for COVID-19 and the other tested positive for antibodies. Other animals that have tested positive in the US include two cats, a tiger, and a lion.
