Indy 500 Will Go On, When Depends On Fans
(Indianapolis, IN) — There are two plans for the Indy 500, one with fans and one without. Race owner Roger Penske over the weekend said the 500 will happen on August 23rd if there are fans. If fans are not allowed, Penske said the race won’t happen until October. IndyCar opened its season on Saturday in Texas without fans.
