Lady Antebellum took to social media today (June 11th) to announce that going forward the trio will be dropping the full name of “Antebellum” and just be known as “Lady A” a nickname fans have been calling the trio almost since they began their musical journey in 2008. In the post they went to to say the name came after a southern-style “antebellum” home where they took their first photos as a group.
