The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Crawford, Jasper, Northern Clay, and Effingham County Until 2:45 AM. Additional rainfall amounts of two to three inches are possible in the warned area. Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
