With current restrictions preventing the traditional event from happening, organizers of Coles County Relay for Life have planned a drive-through luminaria event on August 15th. They can be purchased for $10 at the Relay for Life Facebook page. The luminaria will be placed along the roadway in Peterson Park between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Also, there will be cancer survivor recognition. Survivors are asked to stop at the end of the route and receive a gift and snacks.
